We’ll teach you everything you need to know so you can meet new friends, challenge your mind, and get your steps in, all while having a blast.

Modern square dancing is fast-paced, upbeat, and addictive. Danced in squares of four couples, it’s unlike other dances because you don’t memorize routines. Instead, a caller calls out moves in real time, so every dance is spontaneous, exciting, and a little like solving a fast-moving puzzle. At higher levels, more calls keep even experienced dancers on their toes! You’ll stay engaged, laughing, and moving the entire time. It’s the most fun you can have while getting your steps in, no treadmill required.
Square dancing today features a huge mix of music. Callers blend current hits, classic favorites, Broadway tunes, oldies and not-so-oldies, and traditional country western. Anything with a steady beat works. The variety keeps every dance fresh, lively, and fun.
A few times a year, we host Barn Dances. They're the perfect way to jump in with zero experience. Within minutes, you’ll learn a few simple moves and be dancing on the floor. It’s real dancing, real easy, and real fun. You’ll meet longtime dancers and first-timers just like you. No pressure, just smiles and music.

Thanks to CALLERLAB (the International Association of Square Dance Callers), standardized calls allow dancers to feel comfortable at clubs across the globe, including Europe, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia. Once you learn a level, you can dance confidently anywhere in the world because all square dancing is called in English.
